Swedish peripheral manufacturer Mionix has a new playful product for those who are tired of the usual black and gray. They are announcing the Avior Color mouse series, an ambidextrous, entry-level mouse available in five color variants. These are not just the typical color choices however. These take color-cues from food.
While Mionix does offer the Avior in plain black (boring), users can also get it in shark fin, french-fries, frosting or ice cream color flavours. Shark Fin is a bit of a dark white, gray. Not entirely either of those colors, so it actually stands out. The french fries color is a fancy way of saying yellow. Frosting on the other hand is very pink, like Homer Simpson’s donut. Meanwhile, the Ice Cream flavor is actually pastel blue. Which has a very retro feel about it. What is great about the color is that even the cable, scroll wheel and buttons match it. Only the Mionix logo at the center remains differently colored.
Aside from the fancy colors and ambidextrous design, it uses an optical sensor capable of up to 5000 DPI (native). There is also a toggle for that behind the scroll-wheel, and users can reprogram buttons via the Mionix hub software.
The Mionix Avior is available now for €59.99, from https://getmionix.com/
