Mionix Nash 20 Gaming Headset Review

Final Thoughts

Price

There is no doubt about it, the Mionix Nash 20 is an expensive headset. It’s available from most major retailers and the best price here in the UK is from Box.co.uk, where you can pick it up for £99.99 + shipping. In the US you can pick one up from Amazon.com for $129.99 with free shipping (also Prime eligible). This price puts the Nash 20 alongside some tough competition from the Corsair Vengeance 2100, MadCatz FREQ5 (one of my all-time top 3 headsets) and the Astra A30 and in my opinion it’s better than every single one of them, if only by a little.

Overview

I’ve been over everything the Nash 20 has to offer multiple times, I’ve poked and prodded at it, sat gazing at it for literally minutes on end (heh heh) and I’ve come to a conclusion, it’s the best headset I’ve ever tested! After much deliberation I’ve decided that I cannot find any fault with it, it’s perfect.

The build quality as absolutely faultless and the thick soft-touch rubber finish not only looks fantastic, but also leaves the headset feeling very durable. There are no squeaky plastic components or rough edges to be found anywhere. The foam padding is deep and forgiving, and the real leather does well to compliment that soft rubbers of the rest of the headset. The cable is thin, but also strong thanks to its high quality cable braiding.

Mionix has put a lot of effort into creating the perfect driver for this headset and that’s something that really shines through the moment you start using it. The sound quality is second to none without significantly increasing the price bracket and it doesn’t matter if you’re kicking back and listening to music, watching a movie, chatting on skype or gaming, you’ll love the sound quality on offer from this headset.

“£100 ($130) for a headset is a big investment, but when compared to the competition, the Mionix Nash 20 is really good value for money; it looks cool, it is really well made and it sounds better than anything else I’ve ever used, which is why I now plan on using it every single day.”
