Amazon Germany have a bit of a history when it comes to leaking “yet to be released” games. Just recently they were caught red-handed with a copy of Mirror’s Edge 2 listed on their website for the Xbox 360 despite the game being under wraps by DICE.
What this all probably means then is that Mirror’s Edge 2 will be shown at E3 2013 next month. This is quite surprising given that DICE are currently working on Battlefield 4 and were working on a lot of Battlefield 3 DLC over the previous 6-12 months.
Mirror’s Edge 2 will be a sequel to the first person free running action game Mirror’s Edge that was released way back in 2008. The game is expected to be released in the very near future and was listed for Xbox 360. It has been noted by Softpedia that the box art also has Xbox One elements on it and so it can be implied that Mirror’s Edge 2 will probably be released on both current and next generation consoles.
Any Mirror’s Edge fans will probably have to wait until E3 2013 to find out for definite. The listed pre-order prices was a huge €99.99.
What are your thoughts on the potential for a Mirror’s Edge 2?
