MMO Gaming Mouse Roundup

The Corsair M95 is one seriously luxurious looking beast, with a huge array of buttons one the left side in a unique pattern. There are 9 black buttons here and each features an ergonomic shape that makes them feel different to touch, making them easier to navigate without looking.
The top of the mouse feature the usual left and right mouse buttons, as well as a DPI switch and a pair of forward / backward toggle switches to the left side of the LMB.
the mouse features some subtle blue lights on the top switches, as well as a blue LED DPI sensor that shines through holes drilled in the aluminum chassis, while the corsair logo shines a clear bright white colour.
The underside of the mouse is super slick and features a two-part aluminum construction, this gives the mouse sturdy build quality and a fair bit of weight.
The software is nothing short of amazing and allows for super easy adjustments of the lift off height, DPI settings, angle snapping, polling rate, you can even calibrate the sensor to your current gaming surface for maximum performance.
Performance
The M95 is one of the best made mice I’ve ever laid hands on, its exterior finish is as luxurious to hold as it is to look at and it gives off an equal vibe when using it too. While there is no doubt that this is a premium product in terms of design it is also backed up by some truly stunning performance.
The software backs up some impressive technical specifications and with customisable lift-off height, DPI, angle snapping / prediction, report rate, macros and profiles its easy to dial in your favorite settings and get this mouse working in a way that is best for you.
The ergonomics are really nice and the smooth finish of the mouse means there are no awkward joins that you can feel against you palm or fingers making it great to use over long periods of time. The side buttons look pretty complex but are surprisingly easy to navigate thanks to each buttons unique shape.
It glides a lot better than you would think given how heavy the mouse feels, but it’s a natural on both soft and hard gaming surfaces.
Pros
Superb design and style
Exceptional build quality
Robust software
Lots of customisable buttons
Cons
- A little heavy for lift-off techniques
eTeknix says: “Corsair has already proven before that they can make a great gaming mouse, but the M95 is easily the best mouse they’ve ever made and while it is well suited to the world of MMO gaming, this is a mouse that is well suited to any PC related task, from mundanely browsing the web to hardcore eSports.”
