Monster Hunter Wilds PS5 Size Revealed: Preload Starts February 26

There are just over two weeks left until the release of Monster Hunter Wilds, and as usual, the X PlayStation Game Size account has revealed the game size for PS5 and the preload start date through the PlayStation Store.
Game Size on PS5
According to the information shared, the new hunting game by Capcom will have a size of 52.826 GB. This refers to version 1.000.010 of the game, but it’s expected that there will be further patches over the next few days and after launch, meaning the total size may increase or decrease. Additionally, updates with new content after the game’s release will also need to be factored in, so it’s best to clear a bit more space than the indicated size.
Preload Start Date
The preload will begin two days before the official launch, as is typical with the PlayStation Store. Players on PS5 will be able to start downloading the game at midnight on February 26, ahead of the official release date on February 28.
The game size is notably smaller than the one indicated by Capcom for the PC version, which is around 75 GB, and can reach 150 GB when including the high-resolution texture pack that will be available at launch.
Don’t forget, this weekend you can try the game during the final phase of the open beta on PC and consoles.
