The key feature here, other than the obvious fan part, is the ARGB lighting. Rather than illuminating the fan blades, you get this squared circle outer section that lights up instead.
It comes with a frosted white diffuser and while there are twenty ARGB lights in each fan, you can’t actually see the individual lights directly, just the zone of the surround that they light up. So that’s basically five lights on each side, giving the fans some very smooth colour transitions.
They’re pretty bright too, at least, if you turn them up, as they can be dimmed if you so desire. However, the colours are so beautifully vibrant too, with candy pinks, electric blues and more to pick from.
There’s a whole range of effects on offer, but largely that’ll be dependant on your controller. With your motherboard software or an ARGB hub, you can do pretty much whatever you want, since each light is fully addressable.
Want to light just one corner? No problem.
Want multiple colours, lots of effects, transitions, fades and reactions? No problem.
When it comes to Airflow, the fans are pretty competitive, with both hitting their expected RPM at 50% and 100% PWM, and as expected, you get more airflow and slightly lower noise levels from the 140mm model.
