Montech AX120/140 PWM White ARGB Fans Review

There’s no shortage of great-looking fans on the market, with every major cooling brand having a range of fans to choose from, from budget models to high-performance, to fans that are built to do little more than look cool. Montech has been making a lot of great moves in the market in the last year, with some truly amazing-looking and performing cases, coolers, and even peripherals! However, today I’m taking a look at their latest fans!

Montech AX120/140 Fans

The AX-series fans come in both 120mm and 140mm sizes, with a choice of black or white, but all models come with ARGB lighting built-in too. The features are certainly decent, and there’s a good range of options, but it’s their prices that appeal, with the 140mm costing just £11.99 each, and the 120mm just £6.98, making them some of the most affordable big-name ARGB fans on the market.

Features

  • Impressive ARGB Lighting
  • Excellent Case/Radiator and CPU Cooler Fan
  • 4PIN PWM Smart Control
  • Nine Specialized Wing Shaped Blades for added performance
  • Near Silent Operation
  • Ultra Durable Rifle bearings
  • 3 Years Warranty

All of the fans come with a 4-pin PWM Smart Control design, so they’re pretty much plug-and-play with any common motherboard or controller. They also feature durable rifle bearings, anti-vibration dampeners, and a powerful 9-blade design that can operate from 800-1600 RPM, delivering up to 59 CFM of airflow on the 120mm edition, and 600-1600RPM and 90.5 CFM on the 140mm model, making them well-suited as case fans for those that need high airflow.
