Montech @ Computex 2023

Montech are a brand I’m fairly new to, and I suspect many of you haven’t quite heard of them yet either, but trust me, you’ll be hearing plenty more in the coming weeks, months and years.
Their first project case is the innovatively named “open frame chassis” and well, it’s just that. It comes fully assembled but uses CNC aluminium panels that look absolutely gorgeous.
Because it’s more of a mounting frame than a case, it has pretty fantastic hardware support, so a huge RTX 4090 will actually work with this.
But what makes it really unique is that there are five different ways you can configure and orientate it!
The Sky Two GX comes in black or white, and features room for a 360mm radiator, ATX motherboards, but also SSI-EEB holes are pre-punched too if you wanted to really cram it with hardware.
It’s broadly similar to the non-GX, but with 10mm more height, and 5mm more cable space, plus the glass is now hinged.
The Air 300 Max can handle the latest RTX 4090 cards, despite its fairly small footprint.
The top panel is removable, and features room for additional fans and radiators. Plus, the front filter can be lifted right out of the top!
It comes with 2 x HP140mm and 1 x HP120 fans pre-installed, all ARGB.
The humble X3, 51% mesh front, 280mm top and 360mm front radiator support, Type-C, and 6 pre-installed RGB fans with tempered glass on the side… the price?
$60, seriously, you’re buying fans and getting everything else for free IMO!
The X4 I love, but the King 95 is a total beast! Taking inspiration for the O11D from Lian-Li, it features a dual window front and side, but it uses curved glass on the front too. The side fan mount it hinged, so you can pop the glass off the front, install the included mesh front, and turn the cooling mount to provide front fan/radiator mounts too!
There’s loads of ventilation on the top, with radiator and fan mounts there too.
And a full ventilation right side panel too.
More details to follow soon!
