be quiet! Computex 2018
It’s only been a few years since be quiet! launched their first chassis, and wow, have they been moving fast ever since. Their Flagship Dark Base Pro 900 is an amazing product in its own right. However, be quiet! wanted to do just a little bit better, and have now upgraded it to Rev 2.
The core of the chassis isn’t changed too much, but a few small tweaks go a long way.
Of course, there’s tempered glass on there now, ditching the old acrylic panels, and it looks all the better for it.
Cable routing has been improved with new covers, and like some other be quiet! cases, the motherboard tray is now modular, allowing for height adjustment and rotation to suit your build.
Silent Base 601
The two new editions of the Silent Base series look pretty slick too. They feature thick noise dampening materials and durable panels to keep unwanted noise to a minimum.
There’s a three-stage fan controller, as well as two Pure Wings 2 140mm fans pre-installed. You’ll find room for up to a 360mm radiator, excellent cable routing, and more.
Silent Base 801
The larger 801 is pretty much the same but with support for larger hardware. Both should be hitting the market later this year for around £120-130.
Dark Rock TR4
This one pretty much speaks for its self, as the popular Dark Rock Pro gets a new contact plate and mounting kit. It’s now perfect for the Threadripper CPU, and should please those who are eager to air cool the latest from AMD.
