If you’ve been following up on Mortal Kombat throughout the years, you know that there are many free MK games available. However, one of them managed to stand out in the crowd thanks to its generous list of improvements. Created by Borg117, Mortal Kombat Project 4.1 is a very well-made MUGEN game that enhances various finishing moves while adding some extra improvements. Borg117 released this polished version of the game on November 27. Some of its most noteworthy additions include Hotaru and Quan Chi, as well as some important gameplay tweaks.
It’s worth noting that the VS mode now has Combat codes, and the Mortal Kombat Trilogy Aggressor meter is present as well. Then there’s the famed Braker mechanism, which allows players to interrupt the enemy’s combo. Overall, Mortal Kombat Project 4.1 looks like a promising project that definitely deserves attention from MK fans. If you want to download the game yourself, you can do so right here.
