When Mortal Kombat XL was announced for the first time as a console exclusive, it upset quite a few PC gamers, and rightfully so considering that the Mortal Kombat franchise has deep roots in PC gaming even though it started out as an arcade game. Just in case you’re not aware, Mortal Kombat XL includes all available DLCs as well as a network code overhaul that has the potential to dramatically improve network play, a feature that Mortal Kombat X has been struggling with for quite a while. Not too long ago, Ed Boon held a Twitter poll to see how many people would vote for a PC version of Mortal Kombat XL, and the results showed that there were many PC gamers out there who wanted to try out this final and supposedly polished version of the famed fighting game.
After the poll, the following Tweet was published:

It didn’t take long for people to start looking through the Steam database for anything that could hint at a PC version of Mortal Kombat XL, and it definitely looks like the game will be making its way on this platform eventually. Still, it remains to be seen how successful this version will be in the end. Would you buy Mortal Kombat XL if it became available on Steam at a fair price?
