We’ve brought you a couple of reports about Motorola’s upcoming “affordable” Moto G handset but so far we haven’t been able to put a specific price on what “affordable” actually is. Initially we expected a handset price of about £135 according to a previous report, though that didn’t specify if it was carrier-locked or not, but now Amazon UK have the Moto G listed on their website and it is selling for £159.99 SIM-free. As usual this is on Amazon’s pre-order price guarantee meaning if the price drops, on or before the launch, you’ll pay the cheapest price. Amazon UK report that the Moto G is coming November 14th, in 3 days time, making it in time for the holiday season this year.
A quick recap of the specifications can be seen below courtesy of our previous article:
“The Moto G has a 1.2GHz Qualcomm S4 Pro quad core CPU, 8GB of storage (with an expected 16GB model available), Android 4.3, microSD expandability up to 64GB, a front 1.3MP camera and rear 5MP camera. There’s a slight change with regards to the screen size as it is actually a 4.5″, not 4.7″ as previously reported, edge-to-edge 1280 x 720 display with Corning Gorilla Glass and a 329PPI density.”
