Performance

It’s taken a lot of bits and pieces, but the keyboard is finally all together. It’s remarkably easy to assemble too. With everything just snapping into place, and it’s all hot-swappable too, you can easily make changes any time you like.

Once powered up, the RGB sparks to life, filling the keyboard with a rainbow of colour. Don’t like the lighting? You can change it from the software, or even better, from the little LCD display at the top.

Its default screensaver is the Mountain logo, but this is, again, another tidy little feature you can change if you feel like mixing things up.

It’s not a touch screen, but a dial that you turn to select from the various options. You use the first button left of the display to select things.

I’ll not explain what you can see here, but here’s a quick run through all the front line options available to you.

Select the lighting option and you can simply spin the wheel to choose from a wide range of built-in lighting profiles. Such as this fantastic Matrix rain style effect. It looks better in person I assure you.

How about this cold and breeze look on the Tornado setting? Lovely!

Then you can dial in the desired brightness of the RGB too. 0% is an option too, of course.

Tired of looking for a clock while you’re gaming? No problem, you’ve got that here too. You can even set timers and stopwatches should you need them.

The same goes for these lovely buttons, they’re very much like the Elgato buttons. You can change icons, set launchers, macros, folders, and just about anything you like really.

The removal tool is pretty handy too, with one side offering a key cap puller, but the other side is a more sturdy pair of grips that can pull the switches off the chassis.

One of each switch type is included, MX Pink Silent, Brown, Silver Speed, Red, and a Blue switch. It’s enough to try them out and see what you like. Simply order as many switches as you need, plug them in and you’re good to go.

It’s just such a unique setup. If you’re feeling completely adventurous, it can be even more unique. Number pad off to the left on a cable, the display on the top left, it’s a bit whacky, but hey, this keyboard is whatever you want it to be!
