As Chrome and Internet Explorer are going forward, Firefox continues to try and catch up, and today have released the 6th edition of their browser.
Along with security and bug fixes, Mozilla has also integrated new features such as the address bar which now highlights the domain name of the loaded page or the site identity box which is now streamlined with the rest of the bar.
Some more technical features such as the support of the draft version of WebSockets with prefixed API, as well as added support for EventSource, server-sent events and window.matchMedia. The web-console has also been improved, thus helping developers; there is also better discoverability with Firefox Sync and it starts faster when using Panorama as well.
