MSI 144Hz Gaming Monitors at Computex 2017

144Hz Master Race!

MSI is well-known in the PC gaming market. They’ve created many fantastic products over the years, from motherboards the peripherals. However, now it looks like they’ll be going into the display market too. This makes sense, especially with brands like ASUS having success in that market. Of course, anything that adds a little more competition is great for consumers, as it means more choice, and hopefully helps drive more competitive pricing.

As you can see, the new monitors come with an R1800 Curve Panel design, giving them a more natural viewing angle for work and gaming. The panel can deliver a blazing fast 144Hz refresh rate, so no ghosting and perfect for FPS gaming. Even more so, it’ll deliver a fantastic 1ms response rate.

FreeSync Support

FreeSync is supported right out of the box, and combined with the high refresh rate and fast response time, it’s a great panel. It only features a 1920 x 1080 panel, but it’s a nice one. It’ll deliver vivid colours and contrast. If it’s popular, we will no doubt see more models in the future.

Availability

We’re waiting on more details, but you’ll certainly be hearing more about this monitor very soon,  including how much it will cost.
