MSI 3080 Ti SUPRIM X GPUs are Already Being Sold in the UAE?

Officially speaking, Nvidia has not yet even confirmed the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti existence, let alone that the graphics card is available out in the wild. While the latest news suggests that a launch is likely to happen before the end of this month, following a report via Videocardz, images have appeared online with sources claiming that the 3080 Ti is already available to buy UAE (United Arab Emirates).
MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ti on Sale Now?
Following a Reddit post, the user has claimed that he was contacted by his presumably local PC hardware store and was told that they had several MSI 3080 TI SUPRIM X graphics cards in stock that were being sold right now. While it is never unusual for countries in the middle east to largely ignore such trifling matters at legal embargos, the only moderate fly in the ointment for those prospective buyers is that the store is charging $3,500 for them. And yes, that’s the individual price!
What Do We Think?
While you might potentially be annoyed that some people may already have access to the still unconfirmed Nvidia 3080 Ti, there is some good news to be taken from this. Namely, if AIB partners already have stock out there with retailers, then the release date must be imminent. In terms of the stock levels being good or the 3080 Ti actually being affordable, however, well… There, I think you enter into the realms of extreme optimism!
Oh, and incidentally, that MSI GPU looks rather nice don’t you think?
