MSI Aero ITX Graphics Cards Revealed

MSI Aero ITX Graphics Cards Revealed

This week, MSI revealed their latest range of graphics cards, the Aero ITX. If you’re eager to upgrade or build a mini-ITX gaming system, you know that you’re facing some space limitations and these new cards clock at just 18.4cm long, making them idea for those tiny little mini-ITX cube chassis!

The top card in the range is the GeForce GTX 1070 Aero ITX OC, it measures just 18.4cm long, 14.4cm tall, and comes with a dual-slot fitting. It uses a powerful yet compact cooler design, with three 8mm thick nickel-plated copper heat pipes and a large 100mm TorX fan. The whole thing is powered by a single 8-pin PCIe connector, while the card runs at an overclocked 1531MHz core, 1721MHz boost, with a stock 8GHz memory clock.

The GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/3GB Aero ITX series comes in OC and non-OC variants, all measure in at just 17.5 cm length, and 11.5 cm height. These cards only use a single S-shaped 8mm heat pipe with an 80mm fan, but they’re not clocked as high as the 1070 so obviously run at lower heat and power states, and only need a 6-pin PCIe connector.

Finally, the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Aero ITX and GTX 1050 Aero ITX, which are just 15.5cm long and 11.2cm tall. These use an aluminium mono-block heatsinks paired with an 80mm fan. The GTX 1050 Ti Aero ITX OC is clocked at 1341 MHz core, 1455 MHz GPU Boost. The GTX 1050 Aero ITX OC is clocked at 1404/1518 MHz.

Lots of options there for mini-ITX builds, that’s for sure. Unfortunately, no pricing just yet, but we’re sure more details will be revealed very soon!
