MSI’s Hawk series is back with a bang as MSI have just announced the new N760 Hawk Edition graphics card. The GTX 760 Hawk from MSI features the Twin Frozr IV cooling solution which uses an 8mm SuperPipe and MSI’s “PropellerBlade” dual 10cm PWM fans. These fans feature MSI’s dust-removal technology that causes the fans to spin in reverse for 30 seconds at start up to expel dust for the card. The heatsink is a cover all solution that cools the GPU die, VRM and VRAM components.
As with all non-reference MSI graphics cards they have implemented a custom power circuitry solution dubbed “enhanced power design” which allows for greater stable overclocking. Clock speeds come out of the box at 1111MHz core and 1176MHz boost up from stock 980MHz core and 1033MHz boost. Memory is kept at the default 6008MHz.
The MSI N760 Hawk measures in at 264mm/10.4 inches long. The N760 Hawk comes with Military Class 4 components – Tantalum Hi-C Caps, new Super Ferrite Chokes and Dark Solid CAPs. Pricing and availability are TBA but look for these to become available soon at GTX 760 prices plus about 10-20%.
