MSI may be better known for their motherboards, graphics cards and gaming notebooks, but there is a lot more to the company than just that. The company is also working hard to take a cut of the peripherals market and while they don’t release many products in this range, the ones they do are often pretty special.
The latest product in their Gaming Series is the W8 gaming mouse. The W8 is one of the few ambidextrous palm-grip mice on the market, offering some deep ergonomic scoops and grippy rubber finishes that should make it very sturdy in your hand while gaming.
The W8 is packed full of features, offering eight programmable buttons, on board macro storage thanks to its 128 KB ROM, a powerful 5600 DPI sensor with on the fly adjustments, adjustable weight and desktop software for customising settings. Pretty much everything you could want from a gaming mouse.
There is currently no word on price, but we’re suspecting it won’t be especially cheap and may be targeted at the premium end of the eSports market.
