MSI has announced the “Limited Series” which involves exclusive special edition items which will be dropped for a limited time and in a limited quantity over the next few days.
The new Limited Series from MSI is listed on their website with a countdown timer for the next drop which as of writing sits at 3 days and 22 hours. The Limited Series will consist of limited quantity items which will be produced once and available for a limited time at selected partners. To me, this sounds like we’ll get some different coloured hardware which will be sold “very close” to their normal variant prices and mostly just serve to be collector’s items. It’s a bit tacky but I can’t judge considering I have a dead KFA2 HOF GPU on my desk.
The actual items to be dropped haven’t been officially revealed however VideoCardz has gotten hold of photos of the new Gaming X NV edition RTX 4060 that is expected to be DROP #1 of this Limited Series product line. This card makes use of the unpopular RTX 4060 SKU and sports a green design reminiscent of the GTX 970 Gaming 100ME graphics cards which honestly, are quite an iconic design. The green likely lines up with the NV naming which doesn’t appear to officially represent NVIDIA however, it does look that way from the average person.
This GAMING X NV Edition card will be limited to 6000 units which when you consider the fact that it’s an RTX 4060, there is quite a good chance of getting one. There is no information on whether this will be confined to specific regions but all should be revealed on September 25th when Drop #1 goes live.
