MSI Big Bang XPower II (X79) Motherboard Review

Now that we’ve looked at the board in terms of styling, design, features and functionality, we can move on to the BIOS. Taking a look at the BIOS you can see a typical MSI Click BIOS II interface, meaning that users of other MSI motherboard based products will find things fairly easy to navigate through and for new users, they will see a simple UI that is easy to get to grips with.


For users who are like us, you’ll be interested to see the overclocking side of things and while for more novice users, this may be different to your typical ROG and Gigabyte based boards, the type of users typical of entering this section will find it easy to pick up.

  1. Why would they think that anyone building an X79 system would want fake bullets on their motherboard? Totally ruins the look of it.

    1. i think you buy a board like this for it’s feature set.
      45 seconds and a black sharpie could fix the bullets.
