MSI has just revealed their latest series of fan products, the new cableless MPG EZ120 ARGB fans. This new design features a magnetic locking design that allows you to simply snap fans together to daisy chain them, meaning they can be installed and configured with considerably less effort, and will result in a cleaner-looking system thanks to the reduction in the number of cables required!
The fans use their new MSI-exclusive JAF 7-pin header, which has integrated ARGB and system fan headers. With 33 LEDs well-arranged on the fan blade and frame these fans offer some amazing customisation options, and should be well suited to cases with multiple tempered-glass windows where you can really show off their design.
The MPG EZ120 ARGB takes convenience to the next level. With its Magnetic Connector Blocks, connecting your fans is easier than ever. These blocks deliver power and signal and enhance the connection between the fans. Each fan frame is also embedded with magnets, making the assembly process a breeze.
The MPG EZ120 ARG bearing is a new type of fluid dynamic bearing that optimizes the original bearing design with an extra fixing nut. The advanced design reduces vibration, decreases noise, and enhances durability. Even more, the copper tube has excellent resistance to scaling, high mechanical strength, and lifetime resistance.
The MPG EZ120 ARGB is designed to excel in any scenario. Whether using an AIO liquid cooler that requires high air pressure or focusing on chassis heat dissipation that requires high airflow, this fan is up to the task. Its 9-blade design can achieve a maximum air pressure of 2.56 mmH2O and a maximum airflow of 73.82 CFM, ensuring your rig stays cool under any circumstances.
There are versatile options to choose from. The 3-fan package includes a fan control hub and daisy-chain cable to provide more flexibility and expansion. The hub features 4 expansion ports and supports up to 18 pcs of MPG EZ120 ARGB fans, offering complete expansion and maximizing airflow and lighting demands simultaneously. The daisy-chain cable connects fans on different sides of the chassis, which helps cable routing of the rear I/O fan in case there’s no suitable fan header on the motherboard.
