MSI Clutch GM41 Lightweight Gaming Mouse Review

The battle for lightweight supremacy has been crazy this last year or so, with every brand trying to outmanoeuvre each other. The new generation of lighter gaming mice is proving a smash hit with gamers worldwide, especially in competitive gaming. Promising to be more nimble, more responsive, and even helping to reduce fatigue, they’ve certainly got a lot of appeal. FPS gamers can benefit from being able to make small twitchy movements more accurately, and lazy at home gamers like myself can just enjoy the ease of movement while working from home or playing ESO; there’s something here for everyone.

MSI Clutch GM41

While the mouse is designed to be light, it’s not like they’ve cut away the important stuff. It features a PWM3389 Optical Sensor from PixArt, which can deliver up to 16,000 DPI, 50G acceleration, and 400 IPS. With performance specs like that, even the most enthusiastic eSports player shouldn’t be able to throw it off track. Plus, with Omron Switches, and their new ultra-light and flexible FRIXION cable design, it seems MSI are onto a winner. Now, let’s put it to the test!
