MSI Clutch GM60 Gaming Mouse Review

Final Thoughts

How Much Does it Cost?

Priced at around £70 the MSI Clutch GM60 is about what you would expect to pay for a high-end mouse. However, it still has more features and customisation than some £100+ models. I say it’s about £70, as I’ve seen it around £65 and up to £75 at various retailers, so best to shop around for a good deal.

Overview

MSI went all out with their latest gaming mouse, and honestly, I wouldn’t have expected anything less. They may be a big player in the world of PC gaming when it comes to systems, laptops, graphics cards, motherboards and more. However, their peripherals in recent years have been winning plenty of awards too; many of those awards from myself! They continue to impress, push the limits and innovate, and that’s something all gamers can benefit from.

Build Quality

With a rigid metal chassis that runs throughout and underneath the mouse, it’s certainly durable. The outer panels are, of course, made from plastic. However, they’re designed and finished to the standard one would expect from a premium product. They didn’t resort to cheap clips or mounts for the modular hardware either. The use of quick release magnetic mounts is both secure and super easy to use. Add to that the removable USB cables, and that there are two included, which really sweetens the deal for everyone.

Performance

No cut corners here either, and MSI has been picking the best when they ordered parts here. The Omron switches are superb, and with a 50 million click rating, they’ll certainly last a long gaming lifetime. The Avago sensor is premium too, delivering as good an optical sensor experience as one could hope for these days. From precision Photoshop editing tasks to sniping some buddies in FPS games, it’ll get the job done perfectly.

Should I Buy One?

It’s certainly got a lot to offer to a lot of people. With the modular ergonomics, ambidextrous design, removable cables, RGB, great sensor and more available to all. If you want a dynamic mouse that can meet the demands of any usage scenario, you’ll find the GB60 to be well equipped and very fairly priced.

So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
