MSI Designs Innovative SLI Bridge @ CES 2016

CES 2016: The SLI bridges bundled with motherboards are usually for two way configurations and adopt a flexible construction. While these are perfectly functional, they don’t really evoke a premium feel or accentuate the visual exuberance of a high-end custom build. Currently, there are some premium SLI bridges on the market directly from NVIDIA and EVGA which look absolutely fantastic! However, the latest product from MSI is the first I’ve encountered which incorporates a cooling fan.

This is an ingenious idea because multi-GPU configurations suffer from increased temperatures which can limit their overclocking ability. Additionally, it’s always recommended to use reference models in SLI due to the rear exhaust and blower design. On the other hand, this particular SLI bridge should help alleviate any marked temperature increases with custom coolers especially in 3 and 4 way setups.
