MSI displays its commercial All-in-One PCs at CeBIT

MSI is now displaying its commercial All-in-One PC’s at CeBIT. In the lineup you’ll be able to see two new models from the Professional series, AP16 and AP2011, as well as two other Entertainment models, AE1931 and AE2211.

The Wind Top AP16 Professional series was developed specially for the commercial segment with a specially developed LED backlit technology with LCD panel giving outstanding energy-saving performance. This PC features two built-in COM ports, enabling the AP16 to support barcode readers, cash registers and the likes, allowing its use in a multitude of commercial environments.

The AP16 also supports fast boot from USB memory stick, allowing the user to use a USB flash memory device from which to load the operating system, allowing to make use of applications that require rapid boot-up and not high data storage capacity.

The Wind Top AP2011 offers an adjustable stand for a higher level of flexibility along with it auto-rotation function to have the image displayed rotated along the panel itself without the need for the user to manually change settings. This represents a significant advance in terms of practicality and convenience.

Thanks to the use of LED backlit with LCD panel, the AP2011 ensures outstanding energy consumption performance (providing energy savings of approximately 30% compared with conventional CCFL panel). Performance wise, the Wind Top AP2011  is powered by a second-generation Intel Core processor, providing more efficient multi-tasking, and the additional multiple COM ports makes it another ideal tool for a wide range of business applications. Furthermore, the Professional models in MSI’s AIO range also feature the “Pro Kit” software which enables users to find the software they need rapidly and easily. It also includes the “White Board” software developed by MSI for use in small-scale meetings and presentations.

Apart from the Professional section is the Entertainment, with MSI unveiling two new All-in-One PC models in this series: the Wind Top AE2211 and Wind Top AE1931. These two attractive PCs feature advanced touch-screen technology. The AE2211 makes use of a 21.5” multi-touch display with LED backlit technology supporting 1920 × 1080 pixel Full HD resolution. Once more powered by Intel’s latest second-generation CPU, this model gives outstanding performance and flexible touch-screen control, enabling users to work faster and more efficiently.

The slim and lightweight AE1930 has an 18.5″ display and Intel’s new Atom processor, combining high performance with low energy consumption (providing energy savings of around 20% compared to previous-generation processors). The AE1930 represents a major step forward whether it be in terms of performance or consumption. Regarding the software, MSI’s All-in-One Entertainment models now feature a “Fun Kit,” which includes not only the Smart Media Link and Smart Sync functions from the earlier models, but also a range of other audio-visual and entertainment software.

Additionally to all these new products, MSI recognized the fact that their All-in-One PC’s are being used by people of all ages, so the company’s software division has developed the “Quick Fix” software package which will aid in correcting errors and overcome problems. With the software comes three elements: Fix Center, Live Update, and Recovery Tool. Another of Quick Fix’s feature is the assistance with software updates and the help to restore the PC to its original settings.
