MSI, a leading manufacturer of gaming hardware, has today announced an expansion of its product line with its new ultrawide MEG 342CQP display featuring a QD-OLED panel ensuring outstanding visual quality for gamers.
The MAG 341CQP QD-OLED is a 34″ display equipped with Quantum Dot technology and an OLED panel which offers exceptional picture quality with precise pixel lighting control and true blacks. It is capable of reaching a HDR peak brightness of 1000 nits as well as native 10-bit colour which showcases a range of 10.7 billion display colours. All of this provides an immersive gaming experience with an ultra fast 0.03 ms response time and blazing 175 Hz refresh rate.
Burn-in is a concern with OLED monitors but care has been taken to prevent this with the offering of MSI OLED Care. This includes a suite of screen protection optimization mechanisms which consist of; Pixel shift, panel protect, static screen detection, and MSI OLED Care 2.0 features introducing Multi-Logo Detection, Taskbar Detection and boundary detection. This is further aided by the graphene film and custom heatsink which ensures efficient and silent heat dissipation without the need for an active cooling fan.
Further features include “powered by AI technology” (we all know that’s marketing rubbish) MSI Gaming Intelligence which incorporates tools such as Smart Crosshair, Night Vision AI, Optix Scope and more. Console gamers are also cared for with support for 120 Hz, VRR, and ALLM. The I/O also includes Type-C as well as two Type-A ports for USB connectivity alongside its two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port.
The display comes with an adjustable stand which allows for tilt adjustments between -5 ~ 20 degrees, height adjustments from 0 ~ 100mm and swivel adjustments of -30 ~ 30 degrees.
The MSI MAG 341CQP-QD-OLED is available from January 2024 at various retailers, visit msi.com for more information.
