MSI Forced to Unlaunch and Recall GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Super 3X Over Confusing Name

Last week MSI Released their RTX 3060 Ti Super 3x where I and many others pointed out the confusing “Super” name that they had used. Turns out NVIDIA has also decided that the name is too confusing and MSI has been forced to unlaunch and recall the cards.
MSI RTX 3060 Ti Super 3X Recall
Revealed by @HKEPC on Twitter, NVIDIA has notified MSI to recall their Super 3X card over the confusing naming scheme. Whilst there is no Super SKU in the 30 series, the naming was still confusing as some would’ve perceived it as a new Super SKU and NVIDIA clearly doesn’t want any of that confusion.
Small Mishap
How MSI managed to make this mistake isn’t known but the card was only ever revealed in Asia so it is possible they thought they could get away with it there. As of now, the card has been removed from MSI’s website and if it gets relaunched it makes more sense to just use the Suprim naming that the cooler is based on.
