As this laptop only utilises a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080p, our usual 1440p and 4k benchmarks have not been included. It should, however, be noted that it does include a 120HZ display which is unusual for a laptop screen and is fantastic to look at. It doesn’t affect our testing in any way, but it is a positive factor which deserves to be highlighted in the MSI GE53 Raider laptop.
With an 8th Generation Intel i7-8750H and Nvidia 1060 graphics cards (with 6GB of VRAM), this on paper should be a decent system and overall, we found exactly that. While the processor perhaps packs more punch than the GPU, they both complimented each other well providing some excellent results. Particularly for a gaming laptop.
