Grand Theft Auto 5
Grand Theft Auto V’s remarkably detailed open world environment can become problematic at extremely high details. Thankfully, the GS72 6QE Stealth Pro upheld a very fluid frame-rate and didn’t exhibit any sudden drops below 45. This allows for a smooth user experience while enjoying an astounding level of visual fidelity.
Metro Last Light
Metro Last Light’s exceptional texture quality and complex tessellation effects proved too much for the system to attain 60 frames-per-second. Despite this, the frame-rate was relatively smooth and can easily be improved by reducing a few settings. Furthermore, the laptop’s performance is fairly similar to competing units with the same mobile graphics chipset.
Tomb Raider
The laptop easily copes with the Tomb Raider benchmark and never dropped below 60 frames-per-second. This showcases the level of performance possible on the GTX 970M when paired with optimised titles.
Bioshock Infinite
On a similar note, the frame-rate in Bioshock Infinite remained above an average of 60 and didn’t falter during the benchmarking run. While this is the weakest result we’ve seen from any GTX 970M-equipped machine, it’s within an acceptable margin of error.
