AIDA64 Extreme Edition is a streamlined Windows diagnostic and benchmarking software for home users. CrystalDiskMark

CrystalDiskMark is a small HDD benchmark utility for your hard drive that enables you to rapidly measure sequential and random read/write speeds.

Here are some key features of “CrystalDiskMark”:

• Sequential reads/writes
• Random 4KB/512KB reads/writes
• Text copy
• Change dialog design
• internationalization (i18n)

Whilst the RAID0 SSD configuration gives us a mind-boggling level of performance for a notebook system, the hard drive performance figures are a little more conservative with both read and write figures hovering around the 126MB/s mark. This won’t be as fast as a full fat 3.5″ drive, but for a 2.5″ drive this is very good none-the-less.
