MSI has announced its new gaming notebook the “GT683DX” which has impressive specifications and is aimed at the high end gamer. Holding a second generation Intel i7-2630QM Quad core processor which has blistering gaming performance along with a GTX 570M (roughly equivalent to a GTX 560/GTX 460) for unrivaled levels of notebook graphics and a huge 1.5GB of GDDR5 memory to support the Notebook’s Full HD 1080p 15.6″ monitor. The GT683DX scored an impressive 12,475 3DMarkVantage points which is certainly enough power to take on the latest DX11 games.
Other good features include USB 3.0 technology which has transfer speeds 80% faster than USB 2.0, a special overclocking turbo hotkey and an optimum cooling hot key to keep your laptop cool when being used, 4 DDR3 slots are included supporting up to 16GB of memory and the GT683DX’s motherboard supports RAID 0 allowing for increased write speeds of up to 70% more. iCharger technology is also included to allow USB devices to receive more power and therefore charge more rapidly.
