MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X Graphics Card Review

Hitman

Hitman’s DirectX 12 render gives us a fantastic insight into the performance levels when using the latest API. While the MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X does much better than the GTX 980, it’s not able to surpass the RX 480. This isn’t surprising considering AMD’s exceptionally strong showing in DirectX 12 titles.

On a similar note, the graphics card copes pretty well with the game while utilising for a 1440p resolution and exhibits a very good boost over the GTX 980. Despite this, it’s still not able to match the RX 480.

Here we can see, the MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X easily outperforms the GTX 980 but it’s just eclipsed by the RX 480.
