MSI Immerse GH60 Headset and Vigor GK40 Keyboard Launched

New MSI Gaming Peripherals

MSI has two new product additions for their gaming peripheral line. Introducing the new Immerse GH60 gaming headset, and the Vigor GK40 keyboard. Gaming peripherals is not a new venture for MSI. Although they have been slowly integrating it into their product portfolio for the past few years. In fact, the GH60 is a more affordable version of the previously released Immerse GH70 which has RGB LEDs. The Vigor GK40 also made an appearance as early as CES 2017 last year.

What Features Does the Immerse GH60 Headset Have?

The Immerse GH60 is a large gaming headset using a 3.5mm connector standard. This allows it to be compatible with a wide range of devices, and it even comes with a splitter for the audio and microphone signal. Underneath the oversized earcups are 50mm Neodymium drivers with Hi-Res certification. This is why the Immerse GH60 also works well for listening or multimedia use with clear details outside of gaming.

In terms of comfort, the ergonomic flexible headband fits various head sizes. Plus, it distributes the weight evenly across, so there is less fatigue when worn over longer gaming sessions. Two additional ear pads are provided, giving users a choice between smooth leather or soft cloth. This also minimizes downtime when the user is washing one pair since there is a replacement available.

MSI Vigor GK40 Gaming Keyboard

The new MSI Vigor GK40 is a membrane gaming keyboard with simulated mechanical switches. It is also fully backlit with per-zone RGB LEDs. Using the Fn combo key, the user can adjust and switch between 8 lighting preset modes. There is also control for backlight intensity and flow. Users can also customize the six-zone RGB backlight through the Mystic Light software via the desktop.

Despite being a membrane keyboard, each key has a frame housing compatible with Cherry MX mounts. The result is a more consistent actuation per-key than standard membrane keyboards. Since it is for gaming, it also features a 20-key anti-ghosting cluster and is water-repellant.

The MSI Vigor GK40 gaming keyboard is also available in a combo bundle. This includes the addition of the Clutch GM10 gaming mouse. It uses a PixArt ADSN-5712 optical sensor with an adjustable DPI setting up to 2400 DPI.

When Are These MSI Gaming Peripherals Coming Out?
