MSI Introduces Frosty Trident 3 Arctic Limited Edition Gaming PC

MSI’s compact Trident 3 VR gaming PC has received the Arctic makeover for a limited edition run, sporting an all-white color with ice blue trim, keeping the same features as the original version released four months ago which won an iF 2017 Design Award. The Trident 3 Arctic houses a customized GeForce GTX 1070 Graphics card and Intel’s Kaby Lake processor so it can run virtual the latest reality PC games.

The compact nature of the Trident 3 Arctic also makes it ideal as a gaming solution almost in any environment and will not look out of place in the living room because of its size. Inside, the components are kept cool with MSI’s Silent Storm Cooling 2 system so it runs quieter than an average public library under full load and is whisper quiet when idle so it does not distract audibly as well as aesthetically. The MSI Trident 3 VR Gaming system also has RGB LED capability that is controllable via MSI’s Mystic Light App or via the MSI Game software installed inside. This allows users to customize the Trident 3 Arctic with their own personalized color touch.

In terms of storage, the MSI Trident 3 Arctic has a 256 GB M.2 SSD pre-installed for the OS drive plus a 1TB 7200RPM HDD for storing the games. It comes pre-packed with 16GB of 2400MHz SO-DIMM dual-channel memory which are expandable up to 32GB. Connectivity in the rear includes an RJ45 Gigabit LAN port, a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A and four USB 2.0 Type-A ports as well as the DC power jack and and a VR-Link connector. At the front, there is an earphone jack, a microphone jack, a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C, 2x USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A and one VR-Link HDMI out connector.
