MSI has officially launched the GT80 Titan SLI, GS30 Shadow with GamingDock and the GE62 Apache gaming notebooks at a live event. The new gaming laptops are powered by Intel i7 CPUs and use up to Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 GPUs to pack a serious gaming punch.
The G62 Apache is powered by an Intel Core i7-4720HQ Processor with support for up to 16GB RAM and with up to 512GB M.2 SATA SSD Super RAID + 1TB 7200RPM HDD. The graphics are powered by a GTX965M graphics card while network is taken care of by the Killer Gaming Network and Intel 1×1 Wireless AC3160 a/c connections.
The keyboard in the G62 is made by SteelSeries and the 15.6″ Full HD eDP display allows for a wide-view angle with great and accurate colours and consistent brightness.
MSI has packed the GT80 Titan SLI with a heavy punch. At the heart, it has an Intel Core i7-4980HQ CPU, dual GeForce GTX980M SLI graphics with 16GB GDDR5 memory, up to 32GB RAM, up to 1TB Super RAID 3 (4x256GB) + 1TB HDD. The connectivity is powered by the Killer Gaming Network and Killer N1525 combo (2 x 2 a/c) and it comes with 4.1 sound, mechanical Cherry MX Brown switches and backlighting
The last of the three new systems presented at the event was the GS30 Shadow with GamingDock – a really unique system. It’s an ultra portable 13.3-inch gaming notebook but features an extensive docking station with external MSI GeForce GTX980 Gaming Edition 4GB PCI-E card, Killer Gigabit LAN, 3.5″ SATA docking bay, USB 3.0 hub, speakers and subwoofer.
The GS30 itself has an Intel Core i7-4870HQ processor with support for up to 32GB RAM and 512GB SSD in Super RAID (2x256GB) M.2 SATA.
