MSI Launches ‘Infinite A’ Upgradeable Gaming Desktop

MSI is announcing the launch of their new ‘Infinite A’ desktop system. Unlike some typical pre-built PCs you get at a BestBuy, the MSI Infinite A is specifically for gaming and uses various MSI solutions inside. Also, unlike many pre-built systems, the Infinite A is easily upgradeable and available in a variety of configurations. It also happens to look quite incredible having a tempered glass side panel and vertical GPU mount.

MSI Graphics Cards Options

Any gaming system requires a competent graphics card. Which is why the Infinite A is available with GeForce GTX 1070, GTX 1080 or GTX 1080 Ti video card options. Since these are the MSI gaming models, they have an out-of-the-box factory overclock. This results in 14 percent higher average clock speed. With the Twin Frozr cooling system, these video cards are also quieter by as much as 35 percent due to their special 95mm Torx fan.

Features and Specifications

It is not just the graphics card that is impressive on the Infinite A. The system also uses top of the line Intel Core i7-7700 (non-K) CPU and is available with Intel Optane caching. The Aegis 3 desktop line will also receive this feature update moving forward, significantly improving system storage performance.

Price and Availability

The Infinite A desktop is available now directly from MSI, Amazon, NewEgg, Microsoft and Fry’s Electronics. The base configuration starts at only $1,299 and goes up to $1,999 USD, which is surprisingly affordable.
