New Dual-Fan RTX 2070 from MSI
MSI has a new RTX 2070 graphics card they are launching under the ‘Ventus’ line. This is a new one that was not part of the initial leaked lineup two months ago. Although it does share some similarities with existing models such as the use of the Torx fan like with the RTX 2070 Armor. It notably lacks the fancy RGB LEDs of higher end models but it provides a quieter and cooler alternative for the Founder’s Edition model.
These dual fans have a four nickel plated copper heatpipe heatsink underneath. These heatpipes are also mounted in a direct-contact manner, so it is much more efficient in absorbing heat. It also comes with a backplate which helps absorb extra heat. Plus, it provides support for the PCB preventing sag over time.
