The box is really cool, with a stylish photo of the motherboard on the front, showcasing some of the fancy Mystic Light RGB. It also has badges showing support for the latest Intel CPUs and Optane, but those are a given for Z390.
Around the back, a nice feature breakdown, as well as a few details on the other gadgets included in the box. Don’t worry, we’ll take a closer look at those in a moment.
One thing I really like is that the box opens out. Here you get your first look at the motherboard its self, as well as even more detail on the built-in OLED display, lighting, and connectivity.
What’s in the Box?
There are two sections to the box, with the lower part containing a plethora of cables and connectors. I won’t bother you with every sticker and cable though. Of course, all the basics are here though.
The real fancy stuff is here though. Firstly, a dual M.2 PCIe adaptor to allow you to add even more ultra-fast storage in RAID should you need it. A powerful WiFi antenna for the boards Killer xTend WiFi, an MSI Streaming Boost PCIe card with HDMI port, and those super sexy braided SATA cables too. That board isn’t lacking in its own features, but these add-ons all give it a leading edge.
