Overclocking
Now, this motherboard does pack a lot of extensive overclocking features. However, just like all the other Z390 solutions we’ve tested, our trusty i9-9900K hit its own upper limit of 5 GHz with ease. Now, with extreme cooling and other tweaks, this board can and will go higher, if you have the silicone for it.
While the board already had the top 3DMark score, the overclocked took things up a notch and the MEG Godlike held onto the top spot with a stunning 24555 points.
Overclocking also saw the WPrime score drop by two seconds to just 78.09 seconds. This again makes it one of the fastest Z390, only 1/100th of a second off the top spot for its class. AGain with Cinebench too, taking the top Z390 spot and beating the Aorus Xtreme’s 2210 with a score of 2221.
