A Closer Look

This is certainly one of the most unique-looking monitors I’ve had in for review in a long time. Not that the overall design is completely bonkers or anything, I mean, it’s not an oval screen with wings on the side or anything… it’s just blue. However, that one change really sets it apart in today’s market, and honestly, I hope to see them follow with a nice velvety red version in the near future, as the market is so painfully monochrome these days.

The panel is 27″ inches, so a good size for most users, and it has a good anti-glare coating on it too. The panel comes with a simple row of buttons on the bottom right, allowing you to control the OSD.

The stand looks really nice, of course, all the parts of it are in that matching aquamarine blue too. The base is nice and slim and looks neat and tidy with its rounded corners and flat top. It comes with a good range of movement too, allowing for -30° ~ 30° swivel and -5° ~ 20° tilt.

There’s a 0 ~ 110mm of height adjustment.

And my favourite feature is that it can easily be rotated (clockwise, or anti-clockwise) into portrait mode.

Around the back, it’s a very clean design, with a smooth curved rear cover, and just a toned-down MSI logo at the top.

The main I/O features an HDMI, a DisplayPort and a Type-C, all support 2560 x 1440 at 75hz, and the Type-C can deliver 65W of power too. There’s also a two-port USB hub for the KVM switch, so you can hook up your keyboard and mouse to the monitor, and the KVM will allow you to change them between systems when you change the display source.
