The tempered glass windows are mounted on hinges. Simply pull the handle and open it up, it’s that easy. If you need to quickly clean or make a change in your rig, you don’t have to reach for the screwdriver.
Furthermore, the hinges at the back allow you to simply lift the glass up and off the case. Just put them to the side and they won’t get in your way while installing your hardware.
The interior of the SEKIRA 500G is absolutely massive. It’s a high-end case for high-end hardware, so you’ll be happy to see it support E-ATX motherboard, huge graphics cards and much more. Plus, there’s a big cut-out for mounting the CPU cooler, as well pre-installed motherboard standoffs to speed up the process.
I love a good PSU shroud, and this one is a bit of a beast. Not only does it hide the PSU and all your cable gore, but it is also packed with HDD mounts. There are four tool-free 3.5″ trays in the bottom section and two more on a movable bracket towards the front. Plus, they’re all accessible from both sides of the case, which is handy.
If that’s not enough, there’s an SSD mount on top, two huge cable grommets, and the standoffs for mounting a vertical GPU riser cable!
Of course, you can also mount SSDs in these too using the screws that come included in the box.
For cable routing, you’ll find plenty of large cable grommets around the motherboard too. They’re set a little further to the right than most, allowing for the slightly wider E-ATX motherboards.
Worried about airflow? I wouldn’t if I were you. There are two lovely 200mm fans mounted in the front that will move some serious air. Bigger fans mean higher airflow at lower RPM, and that means less noise too!
Plus, there are mounts for a wide range of 120/140 fittings to support any kind of fan and radiator configuration you desire. It’ll handle up to a 280mm in the front easily enough.
Plus you can get a massive 360mm radiator in the top, or a 280mm if you want the larger fans. Furthermore, the whole top mounting bracket is on rails and fitting with thumbscrews.
This means you can completely remove it, fit your radiator and fans, then slide it back into place; nice and easy!
In the rear, there’s another pre-installed fan. You’ll notice they’re not RGB or anything like that, just good quality blacked out fans.
Behind the motherboard, there’s plenty of room for routing your cables. Of course, there is a window on this side of the case, so you’ll want to keep things neat and tidy. Thankfully, there are able tie-down loops, velcro straps, and that PSU shroud to help you do just that.
While the HDD cages are integrated into the shroud, they can be removed. This will be handy to deal with cable routing, radiator installs, that kind of thing. Basically, if something is in your way, you can move it if you need to.
Plus if all those drive mounts aren’t enough for you, you’ll find two more SSD mounts tucked back here also!
