MSI is one of the biggest and best names when it comes to high-end gaming hardware. Graphics cards and motherboards and monitors may be their most famous, but did you know they also make some stunning PC cases? I’ve loved all the previous MSI cases I’ve ever had the chance to review, so I have pretty high expectations for the new MSI MPG Velox 100R Case. It’s hitting all the usual marks, with tempered glass, ARGB lighting, and support for high-end hardware, making it a perfect match for the PC gaming enthusiast.
It’s certainly a well-equipped case, offering space for (up to) E-ATX/ATX motherboards, as well as room for extra-long graphics cards (380mm), tall CPU coolers (175mm) and plenty of storage (2.5″ SSD x 2 / 3.5″ HDD x 2). This is a gaming case after all, so it makes sense it would at least meet the requirements of modern enthusiast gaming hardware. The case itself isn’t overly huge though, sticking to a mid-tower form factor and measuring 474 x 231 x 490 mm. You get a few other luxuries too, such as vertical GPU mounting, a PSU shroud with built-in RGB, ARGB fans in the front and back, a built-in fan/LED control system, dust filters, good radiator support, and a tool-free hinged glass window on the left, as well as glass on the front.
