MSI P67A-GD65 Motherboard Review

BundleUpon opening the box, we are met by the included accessories. There is a very good range of accessories with various uses. We couldn’t really say that we feel anything else should be included.

Driver installation CD, motherboard manual, quick installation guide and software application booklets are all present.

4 white, latching SATA cables (2 of which contain a right-angled end) are included. A Molex to SATA power adapter is also included along with the MSI “M-connectors” and a flexible SLI bridge.

The I/O shield is labelled with the details of the corresponding ports. It is also black so that it will look excellent in the back of an enthusiast’s case.

MSI include a USB 3.0 PCI back plate which connects to the internal USB 3.0 header. This can potentially give a total of 4 USB 3.0 ports. The inclusion of a black cable is always good to see from an enthusiast point of view.

Another useful inclusion is the “V-check cables”. This shows that the board is definitely targeting the enthusiast crowd! The small extras that MSI include like these V-check cables and M-connectors are great little touches that make us happy and reassured that we are buying a quality board.
