MSI Pro DP20Z Business & Productivity PC Review

An ATX desktop PC case is great for most of us, but certainly not what everyone wants or needs. There’s a growing demand for more compact, stylish and portable systems these days. From having something nice in the home, something slick in the office, or even just for those who are short on space. Especially working from home these days, many of us have set up small offices in various corners of our homes to suit the modern world. That’s where the new MSI Pro DP20Z comes into play, which looks ideal for everything from digital signage and office presentations to an HTPC or family computer. Plus, at just 2.6 Liter in size, there aren’t many spaces that can’t accommodate this tiny PC!

MSI Pro DP20Z

Obviously, being so compact, you would expect it to be completely gutless when it comes to performance. However, it features the truly fantastic AMD Ryzen 7 5700G processor, which features a potent 8-core, 16-thread design running at 3.8 GHz base and 4.6 GHz boost. That’s a lot of power for a compact system, but it gets better! This is an APU, so it comes with built-in Radeon hardware, and while I haven’t tested it, it’s more powerful than the 3400G I’ve been using in my arcade machine, so I’m confident it’ll be pretty decent for gaming too. Add to that some fast DDR4 memory, Wi-Fi 6, USB 3.2 Gen 2, and you’re well on your way to a very practical system.

So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
