MSI Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB Graphics Card Review

Synthetic Benchmarks

While this card is perfectly fine, I really wasn’t expecting it to be nearly identical to the performance of the Sapphire XT Pulse. Sure, they both have the same boost clock, but with 8GB of memory, I was expecting more than a handful of points difference. Alas, they’re broadly the same. That being said, the scores are pretty solid, and keep pace with the GTX 1660 series of cards overall, give or take.

As a child still in my 30's (but not for long), I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
