A Closer Look
If you have seen previous MSIs cards then this will be very familiar, it features a design that is almost identical to other MSI Gaming series cards.
The back of the card is a mostly featureless black backplate that has some holes for air to pass through, a cut-out for the cooler mount and a printed MSI logo.
From the side we can see the large heatsink on the inside of the shroud and an MSI logo that lights up in RGB as well as the RGB light bar and power connectors of the card
The power connectors in question are dual 8-pin and are positioned partway into the whole cooling solution.
The cooling solution of the card consists of a large heatsink with five heat pipes and three fans.
The fans on the card have a ten blade design with an MSI logo on the hub. The blades are joined into pairs at the ends to try to direct airflow better for a more efficient cooling solution.
The rear I/O of the card features three Display port connectors and a single HDMI 2.1. Also at the back I/O plate is a whole lot of holes for air to be exhausted out of the case.
Finally, we will look at all the glorious RGB; we get a lot of RGB on this card, with two small zones on the front of the card, a light-up MSI logo and a whole light bar.
