Time Spy is a DirectX 12 benchmark test for gaming PCs running Windows 10 and above only. With its pure DirectX 12 engine, built from the ground up to support the latest API features like asynchronous compute, explicit multi-adapter, and multi-threading, Time Spy is the ideal benchmark for testing the DirectX 12 performance of modern graphics cards and is typically a good benchmark for mid-to-high-end hardware. Furthermore, Timespy Extreme is designed for 4K performance testing.
3DMark is available on Steam here.
We see a dip in performance in Time Spy on the 6750 XT, this time the 3070 ends up on top.
In Time Spy Extreme, we see very similar results to the previous test; the cards are maintaining similar positions, but the most noteworthy change is that the RTX 3060 Ti has taken the lead over the RX 6700 XT in both metrics. This could potentially show a trend in future results, we’ll have to keep an eye on the performance of this card in 4K tests to see if the results follow the same trend.
