MSI has released a new mini-ITX motherboards and a small GPU accompanying it, the MSI Z87I Gaming AC and GTX 760. These are the components with which MSI wants to make its presence known in the mini-ITX market simply because more and more case manufactureres come up with smaller case units, and let’s face it, who doesn’t want to have a gaming PC that you could fit anywhere in the house?
The Z87I Gaming AC is an improved version of the MSI Z87I motherboard. The difference stands in MSI adding a dual-band 2T2R 802.11ac WiFi, Killer E2205 NIC, Realtek ALC1150 audio codec, gaming device port, more SATA III ports and Intel WiDi support. As always, it comes with MSI Gaming themed BIOS and software along with matching heat sinks and design.
Taking a look at the MSI GTX 760 Gaming, we can see that it measures exactly 17cm in length as well as in width, making it fit perfectly in a mini-ITX board. The cores are clocked at 1033 MHz with boost of up to 1098 MHz. It also comes with MSI’s new Radax fan design which incorporates radial and axial design in one fan. Furthermore, it comes with OC mode, Gaming mode and Silent mode.
In terms of pricing, the MSI Z87I Gaming AC retails for around $270 and the MSI GTX 760 Gaming goes for $200.
