If you were planning to give AMD’s Godavari APU a try then you’ll be pleased to know that MSI recently released eight brand new FM2+/FM2 socket motherboards. The motherboards come in three different form factors, namely ATX, micro-ATX and mini-ATX, which means that they can fit even in the smallest cases out there. The boards are backwards compatible with FM2 processors, which include the Kaveri, Trinity, Richland, 5000 and 6000 series.
The main features of these new MSI products include PCI Express 3.0 x16, onboard LAN, USB 3.0, support for multiple displays and SATA 6Gb/s. As we’ve come to expect from MSI, its new A88X, A78 and A68H based motherboards were created using award-winning Military Class 4 components such as Dark Chokes and Solid CAPs that are guaranteed to function properly even during extreme conditions. High-temperature and humidity protection systems provide much-needed reliability in pretty much any environment, and all connectors boast ESD protection for short-circuit prevention.
On the software side, the motherboards come with the OC Genie 4 overclocking tool, Command Center and Click BIOS 4. Reliable, versatile and compatible with the latest AMD hardware, these boards represent cost-effective solutions for all PC enthusiasts.
